Every member of STEP’s Class of 2019 worked incredibly hard throughout high school. They successfully tackled the most rigorous courses at their respective schools, spent hours researching and preparing for college during STEP workshops, and took advantage of opportunities to participate in college summer programs across the country as well as STEP’s signature leadership expedition in the wilderness of Alaska.
As they prepare to embark on their next journey, we asked our graduates to reflect back on their time in the program and how it impacted them. The common themes that arose were ones of growth, self-confidence, and hope for the future. In the words of one student,
We thank the STEP Class of 2019 for their dedication to their education, their families, and their communities. We cannot wait to see the world that they create.
